Summer News

Kootenai Technical Education Campus -- “Building the Future of Kootenai County”

Presentation -- Monday August 2nd  6:30 pm
                                   at Mica Flats Grange Hall

Businessman Ron Nilson will conduct an informational program on the Kootenai Technical Education Campus (KTEC), and Superintendent of Idaho Schools Tom Luna will speak about Idaho’s vision for technical education in the state.

KTEC is a proposed partnership of three school districts, business & industry, and North Idaho College to provide educational opportunities for high school students and ensure a trained workforce for tomorrow.   Interested voters from Lakeland, Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene school districts are encouraged to attend.

Voting begins on July 27th at the school district offices or by absentee ballots.  On August 24th elections will be held at selected school sites.  Contact your schools for information on polling places.
